As most of the trainees come from distant places, it is essential for the them to have nutritious food and refreshments at affordable prices so as to participate in the daily academic activities actively.

A well-established canteen with a seating capacity for 200 persons is attached with the Academy for the purpose. The canteen caters to the basic need of the trainees, staff members and visitors of the Academy and serves healthy, hygienic and nourishing wholesome foods, in an attractive and diverse menu, on reasonable prices in a great ambience. It also serves meals to the residing trainees in the mess of Boys’ Hostel in close vicinity.

The canteen is equipped with modern facilities for cooking.

The canteen also has one dedicated hall reserved for serving snacks and lunch to the participants of Seminars / Workshops / Symposia / Conferences / Advanced Training Programs organized by the Academy.

A canteen committee monitors the operations of the canteen at regular intervals. The committee keeps not only keeps check on the quality and quantity of services provided by the canteen but also works together with the canteen in-charge to improve the services with regards to quality of the food provided, cleanliness, general upkeep and condition of dining hall furniture, utensils, water facility, availability of hand wash station, urinal, air-conditioning etc.
