The Training Institute has two state of the art computer labs, with a total of 83 multinational brand Core i3 Windows 10 computers that run on centralized UPS supply.

The computers are equipped with almost all general purpose computing software and are LAN/Internet connected. The labs have advanced infrastructure in terms of hardware and software including servers, dedicated switches etc. which cater to the requirements of the trainees, faculties and the curriculum. Printing (shared on network) and scanning facility is also available in the labs for trainees and faculties.

The computers are accessible to trainee employees, faculties and other staff for:

• Online examinations
• Trainee’s registration
• Practical demonstration
• Online course/training material
• Preparation of projects/presentations
• Internet surfing and e-mailing
• Accessing Employee Self-Service SAP portal
• Accessing Intranet portal (Document Repository)
• Various data entries like that of train-load, customer satisfaction surveys
• Other official activities.

To use these services, guidelines as Quality Work Instructions are followed that are formulated under ISO 9001:2015 standards.
