Foundation Training Programme for Assistant Managers
DMRC Training Institute organised three “Foundation Training Programme for Assistant Managers” for newly recruited Assistant Managers from 04 Oct. 2018 to 25 Oct. 2018, 14 Oct. 2018 to 13 Nov. 2018 and 17 Dec. 2018 to 07 Jan. 2019. During the program, participants were given overview on various systems and procedures in classroom sessions and field visits. The program included interaction with MD and Directors and one-day training session on Leadership & Management by specialist faculty (external). The training program received encouraging feedbacks from the participants.

Drawing & Painting Competition
A drawing & painting competition was held at DMRC Training Institute on 29th Sept. 2018, to mark 4th Anniversary of Swachhta Mission. The competition was held in two categories i.e. Group A for children of DMRC staff in the age group 5-10 years and Group B for children of DMRC staff in the age group 10-15 years. The competition received overwhelming response with large numbers of participants in both the categories.

5th Advanced Training Programme on Signaling & Train Control System and Fare Collection System from 25 Sept. 2018 to 27 Sept. 2018.
DMRC Training Institute successfully conducted “5th Advanced Training Programme” on “Signaling & Train Control System & Fare Collection System” of 03 days duration from 25 Sept. 2018 to 27 Sept. 2018. The course was specifically designed to benefit those associated with S&TC system and Fare Collection system in urban transport sector and included interactive classroom sessions and site visits. The program received overwhelming response and received good participation from various organizations across the country. The participants appreciated and gave encouraging feedbacks to the program.

Shramdan was organised in Sept. 2018
To commemorate 4th Anniversary of “Swachhta Abhiyan” under “Swachhta Hi Seva”, “Shramdan” was organised on 20th, 22nd and 29th Sept. 2018 to clean areas around DMRC Training Institute Campus and on 22nd Sept. 2018 at DMRC Trainees (Boys) Hostel which received overwhelming response and active participation both by trainees and faculties. A Swachhta Pledge was also taken by all the faculties and trainees on 29th Sept. 2018

Dr. Mangu Singh, Managing Director/DMRC, visited Training Institute on 18th Sept., 2018
Dr. Mangu Singh, Managing Director/DMRC, visited Training Institute on 18th Sept., 2018 and on 27th Sept. 2018, for interaction with 207 new recruits consisting of 65 Station Controllers/Train Operators, 52 Junior Engineers & 90 Customer Relations Assistants who have recently joined the organization. His gracious presence and ‘Margdarshan’ not only motivated and inspired all of them but will also play an important role in developing these budding employees as professionals.

Quiz competition
In order to develop team building spirit and to encourage extracurricular activities amongst the trainees, a quiz competition was held in Auditorium of DMRC Training Institute on 14th Aug. 2018 on the eve of 72nd Independence Day, among five nos. of teams of selected trainees of different on-going batches. Winners and runner-ups were suitably awarded.

4th International Yoga Day
A mass yoga session was organized at Shastri Park Train Depot, Delhi-110053 under the aegis of DMRC Training Institute to commemorate 4th International Yoga Day on 21st June, 2018.

D-LITE (Do Lasting Improvement in Travel Experience)
In DMRC’s ever continued endeavour towards accomplishment of stated vision & mission of organization, a training program for staff of station operations, on DLITE (Do Lasting Improvement in Travel Experience) - an initiative for achieving excellence in customer services, was conducted from 16 to 18 May, 2018. The idea of DLITE is to generate a second wave of customer service improvement in DMRC to take the level of service to a level beyond expectations of customers. This 3 days programme included activity oriented sessions such as role play, case studies, field visits & presentations by the participants.

24th Foundation Day of DMRC Ltd.
Celebration of Foundation Day is a momentous occasion and a solemn reminder for “Pride & Excellence” for every employee in the organization. This year on the occasion of 24th Foundation Day of DMRC Ltd., Directors' Award ceremony was celebrated by organizing a cultural program on 03rd May 2018 at Shah Auditorium, Civil Lines, Delhi. Approx. 56 DMRC employees participated in the cultural program and displayed their creativity. All participants meted out spectacular performances in various cultural events viz. group songs, group dance, skit, poetry etc. which was appreciated by one and all.
